I’m Alex, a professional photographer with over 10 years experience in the camera bag. I live on the edge of Leeds, West Yorkshire, with my wife and two sons.
After training as a journalist in the early noughties, I held down various unfulfilling writing jobs. A stint as a photo editor (where I spent most of my days sifting through news images) helped me onto the right path, and encouraged me to finally admit to myself – I’ve always preferred the pictures to the words!
Sports, and the ability to stop time, was what got me hooked on photography 20 years ago. I still spend a lot of my time taking sports photos, but I love variety and am always keen to speak to individuals and businesses to help bring their photographic ideas to life.
